MtM: Thass wassup. Really quick, how do you pronounce your name?? I been strugglin with it all day lol
WA: Its pronounced Aye-Mee
MtM: Oh ok I got it now lol. So you did a shoot with M.A.R.Z Photo?
WA: Yes (smiles)
MtM: How was that for you?
WA: It was great. He made me feel really comfortable (smiles)
MtM: Thass wassup. So how long have you been modeling?
WA: I started August
MtM: Word!? So you basically just started?
WA: Yea but, I've been wanting to do this since I was 15
MtM: Oh ok, so what was stopping you??
WA: Um... I guess you could say I just didn't have the right connections... Like, the right people to go to
MtM: Oh ok. And where are you from again?
WA: I'm from Boynton Beach
MtM: You were born there?
WA: Yea I was born there
MtM: Oh alright lol. And you're Hatian right?
WA: Yes, my parents are from Haiti
MtM: Oh yea? Have you ever been there?
WA: Yea, when I was little... about 8 or 9
MtM:oh ok, cus' I was gonna say "it doesn't count if you were like a baby" lol
WA: No lol, I remember a few things from there
MtM: That's wassup. SO, what kinds things have you done so far as a model?? Any events, shoots, fashion shows, stuff like that?
WA: I've done a few fashion shows, some club events, and a few shoots with different photographers.
MtM: Oh ok thats wassup. So would you say you prefer being on the runway or in front of the camera??
WA: (smiles & laughs) I like being in front of the camera
MtM: Yea? Because I know alot of girls get stuck into runway modeling and they think that's it. When they get in front of the camera, they don't really know the difference
WA: Yea, I think the camera is more fun
MtM: So what would be your favorite genre of modeling? Would you say fashion, glamor, iCandy? Which one could you see yourself doing the most of throughout your career?
WA: I mostly like glamor
MtM: YESS!!!
WA: (smiles) yea, I love glamor
MtM: Me too! lol... Me too...
WA: (giggles)
MtM: Do you have any goals as far as modeling goes?
WA: I would like to get a few covers, maybe do some comercials
MtM: Have you ever thought about acting?
WA: Yea, I thought about it. Its something that I might get into
MtM: Yea, Cus' I know the 2 go hand-and-hand. So, so far what would you say your most memorable moment as a model has been? Like the thing that sticks out the most?
WA: Hmmmm... lemme see... negative or positive?? (laughs)
MtM: Ok we're gonna do BOTH now that you brought em up! lol. What would be your most positive?
WA: I would say walking for a cause in a fashion show for breast cancer awareness
MtM: That's Wassup... And the most embarrassing, negative... just horribly terrifying experience?
WA: Oh God (shakes her head and laughs)
MtM: SPILL IT!!!
WA: Well... I've had a pretty bad experience with a photographer, I'm not gonna say any names though
MtM: F*%K THAT S!*T!! We put people ON BLAST!! (you gotta warn your public out there)
WA: (Smiles and shakes her head in disagreement)
MtM: Ok, how about you tell us what he did, and then we'll go from there?
WA: Ok, well I had set up a shoot with this photographer... It was a paid shoot-
MtM: You paid him, or he paid you?
WA: I paid him, it was for my portfolio. I was about 17 at the time and me being very new to modeling, I gave him the money before we even did the shoot.... and he just took my money and left.
MtM:WOW!! So he just stiffed you?
WA: Yea, he just took my money and bounced. And when I called my mom and told her the story, she was like "OH NO, You're not doing this anymore!" (laughs) But I didn't let that stop me though
MtM: That's good to hear cause I know there are alot of creeps out there, who give good photographers a bad name by doin sh*t like that.
WA: Yea, it was horrible.. I'll never forget that
MtM: Ok, you gotta tell us who it was
(After several minutes of trying to convince Walina to tell us who this culprit was, she finally broke down and gave us a name... Unfortunately she only decided to give us the name OFF THE RECORD... sorry yall.. we tried)
MtM: Ok, so what would you say your most embarrassing moment was?
WA: I haven't really had one yet, not that I can't think of.
MtM: Yea, you seemed pretty comfortable once you got into your rhythm
WA: yea, I had to hold back a lil bit at first
MtM: Yea, I didn't know how you would feel about the implied nude shots. You kinda surprised me with how comfortable u looked.
WA: Yea, I've done Implied before, I just never posted them (laughs)
MtM: Well, We're DAMN SURE posting the ones you did for us!!
WA: (giggles)
MtM: So what are your plans for the future Ms. Aime?
WA: Well, I would like to continue modeling, but in the mean time I am going to school for pre-natal nursing
MtM: Thass wassup. Any upcoming projects that you have in the works?
WA: I'm looking forward to doing a runway show with NEXT UP TV in West Palm Beach, FL. They're doing a Doll fashion show and the casting is actually tomorrow, so hopefully I can make the cut.
MtM: That's wassup, I hope you make it. So is there anything you would like to say in conclusion for the viewers who may be reading this interview??
WA: Yea, I wanna give a S/O to my friends, my family
MtM: aaaawwwww
WA: My new boyfriend (bashfully smiles)
MtM: Does he know that u were taking topless pictures!?!?
WA: (laughs) no
MtM: NO!?!? AWW YEA!! THATS AWESOME!! WELL IM SURE HE KNOWS NOW! (LAUGHS)
